How would one find a marriage record if you have checked on a couple of counties you think the couple would possibly have gotten married. Also if you are not completely sure of the date but have checked within a 3 yr. period? In the late 1800's or early 1900's was it required that a J.P. or minister enter a marriage cert. on file?
