    3. Ok...let's all relax. I need you to stop doing all YOUR research and just concentrate on finding MY relatives! (Am laughing as I say that, I don't want any bricks thrown at me.) I need "proof" on Abraham Greer, son of Asa Greer and Rebecca Neighbors. This man married in Tenn., 1825 or so, had a son, William M. Greer i826/1827...and then, my mother's greatgrandfather, Francis Marion Greer was born in Gallatin county, Ills.,in 1830. By 1834 "the family" had moved back to Tenn. and by 1848, on into Morehouse Parish, LA. The term "family" came from memories of the youngest son of Frances Marion Greer, James A. Greer, but he didn't give us a clear indication of his grandfather's full name. James A. Greer only stated that his brother, Thomas Abraham Greer was named for his "paternal grandfather." Abraham Greer "appears to be the man", but, as I said, I need the proof that we have the correct fellow. If we do, I have the rest of the family ready to "fly." If this proves out, then my mother will end up being my father's sixth cousin. I have other ties to Greer, and they all lead back to Aquilla Greer (1716). Some of "us" think Abraham may have died in Ills. and that his wife, Margaret (Peggy) moved "home" to her family {Kinney}. Would any of you have resourses to find some record of Abraham Greer? God Bless each of you. Remember to tell your friends and family how important they are to you.
