    2. Beth & Mike Sullivan
    3. I am helping to research these families for my husband. We have found alot of information on them with the help of a kind genealogical soul in Illinois. But still have a few questions. 1. John A. Sullivan was married to Eliza or Liza Mahan. They were my husbands great grandparents. However, in the obituary for John A published in Eldorado in 1931 it say he was survived by his wife Nora. The family knows nothing of him having a wife named Nora. Also in the obit it says he died at his home at 817 Dewey. Assumed Street but in 1930 Census no Sullivan's at this address. John Webb was the family name listed for this address in the 1930 census. Is there a Dewey Road in the area or does anyone have a Nora married to a Sullivan or would anyone have access to a 1931 directory that might list info on John A. Sullivan and his family? 2. Jordan Sullivan was married to Sarah E. Rodgers in 1878. Convicted of murder in Shawneetown in 1896 and sentenced to 15-20 yrs in prison. Sought a Pardon in 1898 according to newspaper article. Was killed after he fell off the big 4 train coming into Equality while he was returning from sanitarium in Harrisburg in the company of Dr. Turner. Anyone with info on this Dr. Turner or the sanitarium in Harrisburg or real long shot anyone who has a family member murdered in 1896 by Jordan Sullivan please get in touch with me. Sorry this is so long winded but what the heck. Happy New Year All Beth Sullivan PS. I am in NE Georgia any one needing help in the Jackson, Banks, Athens-Clarke County area of Georgia drop me a line. Neil was in Gallatin County by 1813 and I think he is the father of my Robert T. Thompson who was married to Isabella Boaz but I am having trouble proving my theories and also of finding where Neil came from. > > This is one of my brick walls and would like any help. > > Jan McCabe Hall > > Richeson, Thompson, Ozee, Boaz, Miles, McCabe, Smith, Barlow, South, Capeheart, Evans and many more > > > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
