Glenn Miner (and others) traveled from Cemetery to Cemetery in Gallatin Co, Illinois and nearby area, recording tombstone inscriptions for many many years. He published book one in 1973 and book two in 1979. Both books have a pretty decent index. There are some Dunn's but no William in book #2. If they died in Springfield they would not be in these books unless they would have been brought here for burial.
