Hi Dave, just found a Henry and Richard Starke who enlisted in the Mexican war from Virginia. I believe they may be my Hugh whom I have been searching but won't know till I send for papers from Va. Library. Don't know of any other way to get the names from the rosters. Did any Starkes show up in the Miner book? All my other papers show his name spelled Starkey. Thanks and wish me luck, Roslyn
