Dave, Thanks for the addy for the census site. I have a feeling these Seat/Seats families are related, but don't know how. Planned to get back to you sooner. Had the flu! Ugh! The Anderson Seat in Wilson County, TN had us confused for awhile and there was a time we thought he was our Anderson's father. Now I think he was prehaps his Uncle or more likely his grandfather, maybe. Looks like there may have been 3 generations: Anderson>John>Anderson. Daisy, daughter of Anderson Seat (John's son) was my Great-grandmother. My mom remembers her, and we have pictures of her. Anderson married Mary A. Henry in Gallatin County in 1863. Lizzie was born in Illinois. They moved back to Tennessee when she was a small child. She told that she only ever had one store-bought doll, and it fell off the wagon when they were moving and broke and they left it behind! I'll do some more looking! This the most I have ever had on the Seats. Now wish I could find something on the Henrys! Thanks for all your help. Stay in touch, maybe I'll find something here that will help. How are you connected to this family?
