Their father was Joseph who was married to Mary Creal 1st wife, Martha "Patsy" Meeks 2nd wife. Joseph's parents were James and Celia Maxfield. James and his sons first appear in Gallatin County records in 1814. Owen Riley m Agnes Stout a brother to Isaac and Squire is my line. In fact James's orginial farm stayed in the Riley family from 1814 until the 1960's when my grandmother sold her part. It is the same farm were the "Great Gallatin County Mastodon" remains were found. My grandmother's brother still has one of the teeth, the rest of the remains were sent to the University of Illinois.
