Hello, I have just joined this list, looking for my gr-gr-grandparents, Anderson and Mary Ann Henry Seat. It SEEMS that he joined the army durinf the Civil War and was in the South for awhile. Then after the war, he married there, had a daughter, and moved down here. Was it common for folks to go from TN to IL, or vise-versa?
