Thanks, Jack. Yes, I have ordered many marriage records from Illinois during the past few months, mostly from Gallatin Co. This has led to my new connections to the families who intermarried with McGehees. For years I have been on the Gallatin County mailing list and learned about the marriage search there. The Gallatin list is the most active one I have seen. About three people who are on-line there every night have "cemetery books" for the county. It turns into a sort of chatroom. These kind people sit there and look up burial sites for anyone who asks. Then they put the results on the mailing list. It has all led to some breakthroughs for many people. Some nights there is a lot of excitement on the list. Of course, it is rather inactive right now. You might want to sign up for it. [email protected] Thank you for your other email this morning. My faith has kept me sane (If I still am!) this year and many people and prayer groups remember Tracy everyday. I feel it has made all the difference. Have a beautiful and blessed holiday. Mary Ann
