Carol, This is only a little bit of info and it is all I know on a poss. mail carrier from Omaha, Gallatin Co., Illinois. My grandfather: Charles Montgomery Kinsall , as I was told by my father (J.Y. Kinsall) that Charles Montgomery was a mail clerk for the railroad. I wish I knew more of when and how long he had this job or how to get records to investigate this. It is all I know, if you want to keep that for future data you are working on. Sorry, I know nothing on the history of the post office there... Good luck!
