Dear Linda in Utah, Thanks so much for the Welcome!! The Hays boys had only a few children when they appear in the 1850 Census of Hamilton County. John was married in 1841 and William in 1850. I was sent the marriage of Reuben Hays and Mary Carter from someone on the Carter list. They came from Greene County, Tennessee it seems. They were married October 18, 1810. Now I have to find where and when Reuben died or departed this family before their arrival in Gallatin County, Illinois. Thanks for the help!!! Carla [email protected]
