In the book, One Room Schools in Gallatin County, Illinois, by Lucille Lawler, Vinyards attended Cedar Bluff School, Goolsby School, Greer School, Gum Springs School and Kedron School. Do you know where in Gallatin County Myrtle Vinyard lived? My grandmother, Edna Ruth Crest Syers, went to school in Equality, and graduated from Equality Township High School I believe in 1917. I have her senior annual and will check it for your grandmother's name. I am also looking for a picture of her when she was a teacher at Wildcat School, Hickory Hill School and Greer School around 1920. Jon, I would be very interested in finding out about the pictures in the scrapbook myself.
