Our condolences to Bob Black for the loss of his Mother, Nigel Frohock Black. We are all very sorry for his loss. OBITUARY Nigel M Black died at 3:15 AM today at her apartment in Summerville at Stafford, Manahawkin, NJ. She was born in Eagle Creek Township, Gallatin County, Illinois on December 28, 1907, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Grace Jennings Frohock. She was a former resident of Junction and Harrisburg, Illinois and Newburgh, IN, Edison, NJ, and Alton, IL She married James Isaac Black and he preceded her in death on July 30, 1990. She is survived by a son, John Robert (Bob) Black, daughter-in-law Ruth J Black, both of Cedar Run, NJ, a grandson Dennis Lee Black of Brielle, NJ; a granddaughter Linda Weber and husband Carl Weber of Lambertville, NJ, and two great grandchildren Connor Weber and Aaron Weber, one sister Hazel Wooley of East Alton, IL and one brother Dwight Frohock of Colorado Springs, CO., and 21 Nieces and Nephews. Nigel professed faith in Christ and was Baptized at an early age. At the time of her death she was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Tuckerton, NJ. Prior to that she had been a member of the Presbyterian Churches at Newburgh, IN and Metuchen NJ, the Baptist Churches of Dorrisville and Alton, IL, and the Methodist Church of Shawneetown, IL. Viewing of the body will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Jan 31, 2000 at Vickery Chapel, Shawneetown, IL and the Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM after the viewing. and will be officiated by the Rev William Keeney of Newburgh, IN. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Equality, Ill where she will lie alongside her husband.
