Hi, So good of you to respond. My GGGrandmother, Margaret SHOEMAKER (also sometimes spelled SHEWMAKER) was b. 7 Oct. 1812 in PA. She m. Peter HINE, b. 5 Sept. 1805, also in PA. They m. 8 April 1830, in Greensburg, Westmoreland, PA, and moved to Gallatin Co. sometime after 1850. Margaret's parents were George SHOEMAKER, b. in Germany and m. to Margaret MILLER 30 April 1796 in Loudon Co., VA. George d. in 1821 in Plum Creek Twp., Armstrong Co. PA. Would be great if we could find a Shoemaker connection here!
