Hi Sherm You bet there is a Gallatin Co,Ky. I believe that Albert Gallatin was the Secretary of the Treasury for Thomas Jefferson plus many other things. And Ky was there long before ILL. Lots of the Ky names were duplicated in IL. Best to you and yours. Bob
