Oh boy, you've got me there, Carolyn! I cheat because I use the Family Tree Maker program and when you click on "View" and go click on" Kinship Report" it calculates your relationship with the selected parties for you. Somewhere in my files, (buried deep because I just got everything moved into it's own dedicated room and it is sitting in stacks all over the table) I have an old news article that tells about relationships, but can't find it right now. Don't know if FTM online will have that or not. Sorry not to be able to help you. I think "removed" means that you share one set of grandparents or something like that, but am not positive. I'll dig around and see if I can find it and will post it when I do. Carol Dugger
