    2. We are looking for Joseph McGhee, who was b abt 1814. The family lived in Gallatin County. His wife's first name was Sally. Sally's last name starts with a "B" but we can't read the rest of her maiden name. The couple had at least one child, Daniel Joseph who married Nancy Cunnington. Dan and Nancy lived near Omah, when their son Samuel was born. We believe Joseph and Nancy are buried in or around Shawneetown. We hope you will find their names in the book. Thanks, Elizabeth

    3. Yes, Louvina was born in Posey County, Indiana in about 1824; I do not have a birth record for her; this info was sent to me by another researcher; and since I had only an interest in the Aquilla Greer line--and they had no children, I saw no need in trying to prove this info, even if records exist. Wish I could help you more; but this is all I have on subject Louvina Osburn. Bea O'Quin

    3. Hi Bertie, Haven't talked to you in a while. The reason for the question is this. At the point in time that the husband of Lucinda Vinson died, Louvina Osborn was married to Zarah McGhee. Lucinda and her 2 children went to White Co and lived with Zarah and Louvina. I was trying to narrow the possible relationships. I have seen that Louvina Osborn was born in Posey Co, IND. Do you know if that is correct?? If so, a possible tie would be Zarah and Lucinda. Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Bertie G. 3. Dave, Aquilla and Louvina Osborn Greer were in the 1880 Hamilton County Census. Louvina was his third wife and quite a bit younger. In the 1880 census he is 97; she is 59 and her daughter Mahala Osborn, by a prev marriage is 27. this census was made on 1 June 1880 and within 2 months from that date he was dead. I am trying to complete my more than 25 year Greer research by early next year in order to print. Am working on the desendants of Elijah and Mary Acors now. I have identified all 8 children of Aquilla and Elizabeth Bandy Greer and many of their descendants. Each of those 8 children had large, some-extra large, families. Are you a GREER researcher.
