Anyone having anything about the BEAMS, please contact me. Beams of special interest to me are: Saul Moore Beam who was a Doctor. John Wesley Beam who served in the Civil War and is buried at Wiley Cemetery. He married Matilda Ayersman on March 21, 1886 at the home of her parents at Ellisville. Adam William Beam who was a coal miner and farmer and lived in Cuba, Illinois. He was married to Mary Ann Ford, October 16, 1893 at Smithfield. Saul Beam and William = Beam are proven brothers. It is my understanding that county clerks in Illinoi= s have death records after 1877. Therefore, if you can get death records fo= r either Saul or William, it might give the names of their parents.
