I have researched the early Mennonite settlers in Fulton Co. They were very few and far between. My ancestor John Schenk was fromVirginia -- as probably were the Boyer and Hartman family name. Other names in the article 'Early Mennonites in Fulton Co." from the "Mennonite Heritage" are Baughman, Rohrer, Engle, and others. A Daniel and Katherine Kennel Keim arrived from Washington Co. (PA) in 1848 according to the article. Apparently there never was an organized Mennonite church in the Co. Jan Van Doren
