Seeking information on a John Krider (or spelled similiar) that came to Fulton Co., IL. in 1835, bringing most of his family with him, from Washington Co., PA. I am trying to establish who the parents were of my Samuel Kreider (also spelled with variants, even on marriage license) who came with his parents from PA. to Fulton Co. in 1835. Does anyone out there know if John was his father, or if the George that was listed in Fulton Co. in 1840 census was his father? Samuel named a son John, also a son George. Thanks, Dianne Croak
