    3. Jerry, Do you know if Martin and Sarah are buried in the Greenwood Cem. at Canton? Or in Yates City?? My James REED d. in 1914 also. I found all those records @ the Fulton County Courthouse--(Great people, there, BTW!) James' wife, Margarets' mother, Eliz. MITCHELL d. in 1907. Same dates as your two. I found James stone in the Grn'wood cemetery, and his wife, but not Eliz. and James Mitchell as yet. (It got dark and I couldn't see). Did get good pictures in the dark, w/car lites and a flashlite<G>. What I noticed in the cemetery book, of importance, it gives an informant's name w/ most all the death transcriptions. That is where i found brothers and sisters, and sons and daughters, of the deceased. The cemetery books are on one shelf, all together, and are *fascinating* reading. Great credit to the people who have done these!!! I need to go back to Fulton Co., but not sure if it will be this summer or not. But....if i do...maybe... Ginny Seaholm Horicon, WI ********************************* > Martin and Sarah Brice VanTine were born in New Jersey, and came to Fulton County, where he died in Yates City in Knox County. They had lived in Canton for awhile. I am looking for any information on Martin and Sarah from Census Records, or any other records where I can prove who Martins brothers and sisters were. The story we hear, is that Martin travelled alot in a covered wagon, and Sarah stayed at home. Martin travelled alot between Peoria and Iowa. If anyone has any information, I would love to hear from you. Martin was born in 1839 in New Jersey, and died in 1914. Sarah was born in 1842, and died in 1907. > Jerry Gray > Brodhead, WI > jerryg@brodnet.com >
