Researching family of Samuel and Juda Gillett who came to IL ca. 1840 from OH. Settled first Hancock county. Then to Fulton County where son W. Jasper (William) became a doctor. He m. Martha Michel from McDonough County and moved to Kansas. He and brother Andrew fought in civil war. Martha's father died in civil war. Hope to make contact with other descendants. MLMSolomon@aol.com
