John S. died in Fulton County, Illinois on 15 Mar 1878; he was 77. Buried in Barker Cemetery, Table Grove, Fulton County, Illinois. Occupation: Doctor. On 4 Mar 1830 when John S. was 29, he married Mary Ann MOORE, daughter of Henry MOORE & Rebecca HAYMOND, in Shelby County, Indiana. Born on 28 Feb 1815 in Franklin County, Indiana. Born on 16 Oct 1833. On 1 Jan 1858 when James L. was 24, he married Elizabeth M. McCARTY, in Fulton County, IL. Born in Pennsylvania. They had one child: i. Frank (1858-1939) 5. Rebecca Jane PORTLOCK. Born in Jun 1836. 6. Samuel V. PORTLOCK. Born on 11 Oct 1837. On 1 Jan 1857 when Samuel V. was 19, he married Nancy FRIZZLE, in Fulton County, IL. 7. William P. PORTLOCK. Born on 6 Apr 1840. 8. Sarah J. PORTLOCK. Born on 24 Nov 1842. 9. Henry M. PORTLOCK. Born abt 1847. 10. Emeline PORTLOCK. Born abt 1848. On 7 Nov 1867 when Emeline was 19, she married Joshua B.
