Can someone tell me which (if any) Fulton County newspapers were in print in March 1857? My great grandfather drowned off Sharp's Landing on March 2, 1857, and I've been unable to find any references to the accident. Also, he was one of two men who were lost that day. If anyone else on the Fulton Co. list lost an ancestor by drowning on that date too, perhaps they could tell me where to look.
