Thanks to all who have helped get me on the right path trying to determine if the relationship between Spencer COOPER h/o Polly SWEARINGEN & Spencer COOPER h/o Martha HILTON. I found there were 3 Spencer COOPER marriages in Fulton Co. between 1851-1860. None, apparently, were the Spencer who m. Polly SWEARINGEN as he was found in 1860-1880 censuses in Liverpool w/ various daughters. Bless him, at least by his moving from daughter to daughter, I was able to confirm the marriages of Jemima, Drucilla, and Eliza COOPER. I am still looking for death/burial info on Spencer, w. Mary/Polly -- prob. in Liverpool and on Spencer Cooper m. Martha Hilton 1851 and d. bef 1858 [I think]. Thanks again. As always the Fulton Co. List has come through. Carol
