I used to be on the Fulton Co. list when I was researching the Burnetts and Holts. I now have found that a colateral line also moved to Fulton Co. from Shaftsbury, Bennington, VT. Truman Corey and wife Mary (Millington) settled there after being in Medina Co. OH. in the 1850 census. Mary was the sister of Caroline (Millington) Burnett, w/o John Burnett. Their son, George married Ann E. Holt of Bernadotte, Fulton Co. I have found that one of the Corey children, George married Sarah Green, sister of Daniel Green who married Minerva Holt. I would be interested in any info on the Coreys of Fulton Co. (found on IL Marriage site) They were living in Knox Co. IL on 1930 census with what appears to be a son, Elga Overdorff and his wife, Lulu. Mary Pearl Corey b. abt. 1877 Hiram Corey married Emma Wileman September 23, 1880 Fulton Co. (found on Il marriage site) Ch: Clide Corey b. Abt. 1884 <may have been retarded, couldn't read or write age 36> Holley Corey b. Abt. 1887 Jesse Corey b. Abt. 1895 Jesse Corey married Iva ?? living in Howell Co.
