Dear Listers, I am always looking for new ways we can help each other in our Fulton County research. Today, I am pleased to announce that we now have our own, kind, and well-informed Family History Library Liason! Our contact, who we can refer to as "our FHL contact," works inside the main Salt Lake City Family History Library, and has generously agreed to help us in our Fulton Co. research in many ways and on an ongoing basis. Please understand the following about our FHL Contact: 1) Our FHL contact wishes to remain anonymous, and to work only through me, to avoid being overloaded by individual requests for help. 2) He will NOT be responding to specific requests to do research on every Fulton Co. name; that's OUR job. 3) He WILL be working closely with me to provide you with varied and useful information regarding Fulton Co. research, which I will post to this list and on our website, including on a special FHL information page I will create. I think we are very lucky to have this direct contact inside of the Salt Lake City main Family History Library, because we can look forward to being enriched through his special guidance, experience, and resources. I will convey all of his contributions to you, and all of your thanks back to him, as our new relationship develops. My next email will be the "kick-off" of assistance from our new FHL Contact.
