Tere, The latest list of publications I received from the Fulton County Historical and Genealogical Society (FCHGS) shows census information available for the follow: 1830 - Name of head of household only 1840 - Name of head of household only 1850 - Complete census listing in one book 1870 - Full Index in one book plus individual books for the various townships. As far as I know, there is no 1860 census publication from them. There are various online census options but I think you have to be a paying member to have access. The only exception I know of is the 1880 census which the LDS just put online (for free) at their website: www.familysearch.com If you live in an area where the library service is good, you may want to check with your local library to see what they offer. Some areas have access to the "pay for privilege" sites which you can access through library computers. If you are really lucky, some places allow you access through your home computer using your library card number. Access to the full list of publications available and the address for the FCHGS can be found at the USGen Website under Illinois, Fulton County. I don't recall the url offhand and apparently their server is down today. Gloria
