    3. Good afternoon, Does anyone have access to this book, or know who the author is? There is a reference in it I would truly like a copy of. "In 1848 an epidemic of cholera swept through the area. Elizabeth andCarline nursed the sick and dying, and took the two Prichard children intotheir homes when their parents died. The sisters are referred to as two bravewomen in "The History of Fulton County, Illinois" The women in question are Elizabeth SHAW/NORTHRUP and Caroline SHAW/NUMBERS. Caroline was my gggrandmother and I would like to know something about what happened at this time, or if this is the only reference to the two ladies in question. Thank you Jacqueline

    3. Jacqueline; Tomorrow I am making a copy of data on Elizabeth Shaw and her family, for another researcher, It is on Elizabeth and family move to Oregon. If you need a copy, I would be glad to send you a copy, also. Elizabeth and Carline were children of John William Shaw and his wife, Harriett Nancy Harris Shaw. John Shaw's sister Artemesia Shaw married Jorden Pritchard. They had eleven children: Mary Jane,Robert, Alexander, James, Elizabeth, Benjamin. Eliza, Nancy, Sarah, Rebecca and Ellen Pritchard. Jorden developed Cholera and died; Atremesia, Alexander and Rebecca Pritchard also died. If you can't find a copy of the History, it is available at the Family History Centers on loan from the LDS Church. I need a Physical address or P.O. box address to send the data. If you are the person that sent me the item to me early in 2001, please contact me about Washington Co., VA. I had a severe bout with my Lupus in 2001 and had a nasty memory loss. Just as was starting to recover my computer Crashed and I lost some of my material.
