He was born 8 October 1916 in Farmington (Fulton Co), IL to Anton and Petronella (KAISER) DOCHES (or DAUKSAS); may have lived in Peoria County, IL area before they moved to the Rockford (Winnebago County) area c.1922-1925; may have lived on the west side of Rockford before WW2 and the east side after WW2; and he died on 2 March 1969 in Rockford, IL in a vehicle accident. He had other siblings, however, their names are unknown at this time. Michael was shown in the St. Thomas High School's "The Thomist 1932" yearbook as a "Sophomore A", and in the Glee Club; his graduation may have been in 1934 (by today's standards). Michael entered the US Army at Chicago on 15 Aug 1940 and discharged from Ft. Devens, MA on 19 Sept 1945 and may have served in the Air Corps (NPRC in St. Louis can't find his records, possibly destroyed in their 1973 fire). The Rockford City Directories had Michael listed as working at: Rockford Screw Products between 1936-1940; working at Swedish-American Hospital and residing in Cherry Valley in 1955; working at the Crane Supply warehouse between 1958-1964. A 1969 obit stated that he worked at the Chrysler Plant in Belvidere, IL (possibly between 1964 - 1969). I have a copy of his death record, a faded out birth entry, and entries copied from the Rockford City Directories (1926-1964).
