They say that the third time is charm. This is the third time that I have tried to post this since the subject of MaidRites came up. It could be classed as genealogy because my family came through Fulton County on their way west. One daughter married and died in Fulton County. The daughter of my great grandmother's brother, Graham Lowe, married Ira Kerr. He and his wife were the ones that invented Maid Rite Sandwich. I am from south-eastern Iowa and Maid Rites were in all of the towns. I knew that Ira and Gertrude lived in Illinois but never thought about this until after I have been reading your remiensences.When they came to see us there was a new bunch of outgrown clothes for us to wear.
