Hello all, I am looking for the burial site of William P. Hammond. His first wife, Elizabeth Hill, died between 1850-1852, possibly in Tazewell Co. His 2nd wife was Lucy Hill (or Hull). They both show in the 1870 census for Deerfield Township (near Blyton I believe), as do all of William's children. Both are gone in the 1880 census, but the children still show, which leads me to conclude William and Lucy died in between. Williams children (including another William P.) are buried in Wiley Cemetery. There is no listing for the elder William P. or Lucy in Wiley. Any ideas what cemetery may have been used before Wiley in that area? Thanks. Rick Hammond rickhammond@verizon.net
