Aaron Benham and Mary Ann Archer are the correct parents of John M. Benham. My brother made an incorrect assumption when he said that Richard and Catherine Everhart Benham were the parents. This line has been proved for membership in First Families of Montgomery County, Ohio, First Families of Hamilton County, Ohio, and First Families of Ohio. Check the 1850 and 1860 censuses and the book "Benhams in America" by Georgiana Randall. An old paper in moms things written by CA Rogers in 1975, has his parents as the brother of Aaron, Richard and Catherine Everhart Benham. Several websites also differ and list both set of parents.
