Hello List, Does anyone know if family cemeteries (family plots) are recorded by the FCH&GS? Most of us have one or two ancestors missing from our trees and wonder where they might be buried. It occurred to me that so many folks owned their own land back then maybe they were buried out under their favorite shade tree. As a kid growing up in Fulton Co. I remember seeing an old family cemetery not far from our place. The families name was KRAFT. (there may have been 8 burials) They had at least 3 children that died one right after another. I remember thinking how sad it must have been for them to have lost their children so close together and they were all so young . That family cemetery unfortunately was destroyed about 20 years ago, maybe longer by the owner of the land. As far as I know this cemetery wasn't recorded by the FCH&GS. It would be interesting to know if others on this list know of similar family cemeteries in the Fulton Co. area. Hindsight is always 20/20, I sure wish now that I had wrote down the information about the KRAFT family. Better yet, it would have been nice if the owner of the land had enough respect and let the KRAFT family Rest In Peace. Tina
