For those who have been on the list for some time, you will remember the article I wrote on the migrations of our ancestors..well, surprise, surprise, I finally got my copies of the book my article has appeared in..I let them use my name but not my e-mail address...although I have been writing as a hobby all my life, its only been the last 5 years I took it seriously..I have been published several times now and I still get cold chills seeing my work and name in print. I have lots of order blanks and will get the info off them to give to you should you be interested in the book..I did notice they made a few changes in my wording which all writers have to accept but unfortunately they were important parts to me..I am not happy about the changes, but they did not give any of us gally's to read beforehand..the name of the book is "500 Brickwall Solutions" by Family Chronicle..after I read my own to the whole mobile home park, I scanned over some of the other suggestions and most were very good..some were too simple for me but that is because this is a first book for these people and I have been writing for a professional magazine and things are so much stricter..thought you would be interested in the story I am working on now for NV Magazine..its about my husband's Hispanic grandfather who was an errand boy for Pancho Villa..he also ran messages to the outlying enclaves of men hidden in the local mountains..Grandpa was 12 at the time but considered very valuable and made a lot of money because he could run so fast.
