    3. Hi there.... I am researching my Totten line. I am the great great great grandaughter of Henry S.Totten. Henry married Elizabeth Londry in Fulton County in June 13, 1848. In the 1850 census they had a son living with them at the age of 1yr. They were lving in Centre Township. In 1860 they are not to be found. I have found that some of the cenus images for Fulton County in 1860 are in poor quality and you are unable to read them. In 1870 Henry was living with Sarah and Catherine Totten in Cass Township. They were both old maids according to the census report. Sarah was 60 yrs. and Catherine was 62. They were sisters. Henry was 40 yrs and with him were John age 13 and Margaret age 12. This are two of the children of Henry and Elizabeth. There is a third child named Theodore P.Totten who was on his own at this time. I think that there might have been at least one more child but since I can not find them in 1860 I am not sure. It is my guess that Elizabeth must have died some! time between 1858(when Margaret was born) and 1870. Henry died in 1897 in Cuba. I have alot of information that I have recently acquired on Theodore's(he is my great great grandfather) line that I would be willing to share with anyone who is researching this line. I would like to be able to locate them in 1860. I know that they stayed pretty much in the Cass, Centre area. I would like to know if Illinois did a state census in either 1856 or 1865. This might help me figure out when Elizabeth died and if there are anymore children that were born to Henry and Elizabeth.
