Still trying to find out what happened to Levi MORRIS who was married to Indiana (RAKESTRAW) ROYAL-MORRIS-SINNETT The family was found in the 1870 census in Liverpool twp, Fulton Co., Ill. In 1878 I find a marriage record for an Ephraim SINNET to Mrs. Indiana MORRIS, who was also found in the 1880 census. Her daughter Lydia MORRIS was listed as a SINNETT. Levi and Indiana also had a son Allen L MORRIS. Cannot find anything on him after the 1870 census either. Lydia MORRIS first married Adrian BURHANS, than when he past on she married Samuel WHITEHEAD. I have alot of info on her and her children, but nothing on her brother Allen. Wondering if Levi and Indiana divorced and Levi took Allen and she kept Lydia or if Levi and Allen both died. I heard of some type of epidemic hitting that area around that year so wondering if thee is a list of the deceased anywhere Also anyone know of the Baptist church there that may have records around mid 1800's or later? I recently found out that Levi's brother was of the Baptist faith and that one of the Elders moved to Floyd Co., Ia where Squire was found also. This elder moved to start a new church and that the Baptist Church in Fulton had alot of MORRIS going there. Wondering if they could be related to us someway
