Sandy, I don't know if there is a connection or not. I don't have a lot on my Greens, but here is what I have: Sarah E. Green b. 1800 NJ, d. 1850 Canton, Fulton Co., IL. She married Squire Thomas M. Hamilton abt 1835 poss. in NJ. Squire Thomas was born in PA in 1803 and died in Canton 18 Jan 1887. They had at least four children: Mary (b. Oct 1835, Trenton, Mercer Co., NJ), Thomas N. (b. 1836, NJ), Rachel (b. 1838, NJ) and Sarah E. (b. 1841, IL.) Sarah E. Hamilton married Moses Landauer in 1857 in Lewistown and, after she died, Moses married her spinster sister, Mary. Both Mary and Sarah are buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. It's not much, but it may help.
