Stephen Sumner Phelps married Phebe Chase Jan. 21, 1828 in Lewistown, Fulton County. They moved to Oquauka, Henderson County, IL where they had six children. Phebe died a year after the last child was born. Stephen then married Salome Patterson. I cannot seem to find out where or what happened to the six children. Max
