My MOORE are from IN. I find them in Fulton County in the 1870 census. John H. MOORE(b 1838) & Mary E. MOORE (b 1848, dau of James & Sarah MOORE both b 1825) John's origins are still unknown. Related to Mary? I don't know yet. Mary was one of 5 or 7 children born to James & Sarah but the only one to live to adulthood. John & Mary had: Amos, b 1865, IN Sallie b, 1868, IL James b 1871, IL Then entire family group (grandparents, parents, and 3 children) were in MO by 1873. Janice :) TooManyNms@aol.com
