Samuel GOODELL was born in 1788 in ? and died on 2 Sep 1845/46 in Ellisville, Fulton County. He married 1819 in New York, Sarah (Sally) BROWN. Sally was born in 1802 in New York and died on 14 May 1864 in Fulton County. Samuel and Sally are buried in the Wiley Cemetery. They had 11 children. Their oldest child was John Brown GOODELL, who was born on 18 June 1820 in Genesse County, New York and died on 22 Feb. 1875 in Marion County, Oregon. John married on 3 Aug. 1843 in Fulton County Dalinda RHOADES, who was born on 21 July 1825 in Clermont County, Ohio and died 10 Feb. 1882 in Linn County, Oregon. Dalinda's parents were Ezekiel RHOADES, who was born in 1799 in Vermont and died in 1845 in Fulton County and Eliza Vashti BLACKINGTON, who was born in 1799 in Vermont and died in Pacific County, Washington. I can trace the Rhoades family back several generations but the above information on the Goodell and Brown ancestors is as far as I go. Thanks, Jim St. John
