Thanks to all who responded to my Roll Call listings. I'm researching the Peter and Nancy (Gadberry) HARPER family who came to Fulton County from Crawford County about 1843-44. Peter died in 1886, apparently in Crawford County and was buried there at the Good Hope Cemetery. His widow, died in 1892 in Fulton County and is buried at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The following children of Peter and Nancy have connections with Fulton County: James A. Harper, b. Ohio Jan. 31, 1837 m. Mary Ball Oct. 20, 1859 Fulton Co., and died Sep. 17, 1916 Harrison County, Missouri. John, b. Ohio, m. Nancy Bordwine May 14, 1865 and died Apr. 27, 1933 Fulton Co. - burial Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Mary Elizabeth. b. Feb. 3, 1844, may have married twice (Elizabeth Singleton in 1865 and Ellen Pollitt Apr. 7, 1870, Fulton Co., and died there Oct. 2, 1919 -- burial Bethel Cemetery Thomas Henry, b. Fulton Co. George Pollitt Aug. 8, 1867, Fulton Co., d. July 18, 1882 Fulton Co. -- burial Pollitt Cemetery I'm very interested in learning more about the families of these children of Peter and Nancy. There is at least one more son and possibly another -- Francis Marion Harper was born in Ohio and married and died in Crawford Co., IL. Possibly there is a son named David, born 1833 Ohio. Hope to hear from those of you with these families. Mary Hart
