    3. I am looking for information on the parents of these adopted children born to a Moore couple in Canton, Fulton County: John Elvis Moore, b. May 13, 1861 Laura Belle Moore, b. 1862 Naomi M. Moore, b. 1864 Alice Lela Moore, b. 1867 Margaret L. Moore, b. 1869 The adoptive parents of these children were John S. Williams, b. 1834 in PA and Mary C. Barnard, b. 1837 in Roodhouse, Greene, IL. The first census these children show up in in 1870 and they are all using the surname Moore. By 1880, they are still living with the Williams and using the surname Williams. Any information, leads, or direction are welcome and appreciated. Myra Ann Arizona

    3. While searching a WILLIAMS line in Pike Co I came across the name Isaac WILLIAMS married toa Eliza J MOORE. Some of the WILLIAMS settled in White Co., Ill so maybe this WILLIAMS-MOORE family is related somehow to yours?
