My Martin Hixon was born in OH.

I have no Martin Hixons in my database. What kind of dates, etc. are we talking, here? I have some Hixsons who came from NJ and spent some time in OH between 1829 and 1835, then moved to Montgomery Co., IN. None of mine, however, went to Fulton Co., IL , those were from my mom's side. My husband's family were the Fultonites. I know it's a long shot, but Hixon isn't THAT popular a name and there were other lines that branched off that went who knows where. I have gathered information from my Hixsons back to the late 1700's (Thanks in large part to another Hixson descendent, Richard Brady, who has left a written trail of his research for others to use.) so there COULD be a connection.
