His small holding can be seen on the 1871 Map of Buckheart Township - top row RHS. He appears in the 1860, 1870 & 1880 Censuses. I have no record of his death. He was born in Ulceby by Barton, Lincolnshire, England in 1807. In the 1880 Census a family of Havercroft's were living with Richard. John Havercroft b.1830 England, Jane Havercroft b.1815 England and John Havercroft b.1870 Wisconsin. Richard Oglesby had a sister Jane and I suspect she married John Havercroft and they joined Richard in Buckheart but this is all conjecture.
