Detailed information about Samuel's parents, namely Sarah BOONE (Daniel's eldest sister) and John WILLCOCKSON is on pp.11-16, and includes an 1861 letter written by Jeremiah F. WILCOXEN in Canton, Fulton Co. to Daniel Boone's biographer Lyman C. Draper. Note: 1) A "+" before the descendant's name and number, for example, "+311 Samuel Wilcoxen" indicates that there is additional information about that person in the next generation of the book. So, stay tuned while I work on posting more pages this fall. Or, ask me if you can't wait. 2) The spelling of the family name changed from "Willcockson" to "Wilcoxen" at some point during their lives. Also see: Willcoxen, Wilcox, etc. This project is in progress. So far the book has been posted from the front cover through page 145, completing the first, second, third, fourth, fifth generations, well into the sixth, PLUS all illustrations from the book are now posted. You can search for your relatives using our search engine. I hope you enjoy perusing the Fulton-Co.-related pages of this book.
