I have no knowledge of this, Darlene, but you might visit the Schuyler County Historical Society Library in Rushville. Sharps Landing was in Schuyler (Hickory Township). The Astoria Argus Searchlight archives are kept there, though I don't think it was being published then. There might be some other record. Herb
