Biographies: * Michael Frizell sent in a biography of John Bailey, Evan Baily and wonderful family data on William and Mary King (located in the "Family History" section). * Glenene Brown transcribed 13 biographies from the 1879 History of Fulton County book. * Nan Krull transcribed 15 biographies from the 1879 History of the Fulton County book. * Note: It's my goal for 2006 to get all the bios from the 1879 History of Fulton County book online...we're off to a wonderful start! Cemeteries: * Jeanie Lowe submitted 2 tombstone pictures for the Stites Cemetery. * Jan May contributed photos/directions for the Randall cemetery, Morningstar cemetery, Stites cemetery, Freeman cemetery and Sixteen cemetery. * Byron and Kathryn Palmer have recently restored the Virgil cemetery and compiled burial information in the process. Churches: * Chris Jannsen submitted a website link for the Checkrow Church in Avon, Illinois. * Don Parkinson submitted pictures/postcards of the Christian and Methodist Churches in Lewistown...more to come... * A picture of the Providence Church on County Highway 14 has been added by your host. Military: * Special thanks to Don Parkinson, Max Latimer, Gaile Thomas and Sara Hemp for their contributions and suggestions regarding a new section called "Camp Ellis". * Ron Manroe transcribed chapters 7-11 of the 85th Illnois Infantry book. * Judith McGregor submitted military data on George Washington Bandle and his brother, Asahel Bandle. * A tombstone photo of Revolutionary War veteran Hezekiah Hardesty was sent in by Bill Puckett. * Gary Green submitted a tombstone photo of Robert and Almira Zimmerman as well as military data for Robert. * Karen Morlan wrote a military bio of Hamilton Bauman and sent in a tombstone picture of Civil War veteran, Joseph Harrison. * 1929 Honor Roll for Fulton County and Fulton County residents at the Soldiers and Sailors home in Quincy, compliments of Sara Hemp. Obituaries: * Judi Gilker submitted 5 obits: Ella Morgan, Jonas Brewer, Emma Wooddell, Leatha Mills and Stuart Wooddell. * Janet Howard sent in 2 death certificates for Samuel Fackler and Lotta Fackler. * A "friend of free genealogy" sent in 19 obituaries...via Sara Hemp...more to come... * 2 obituaries (with additional data) for Almira and Ellison Norcott were submitted by Phyllis Minner. Pictures/Postcards: * Max Latimer contributed postcards of U. G. Orendorf's home, a bridge view of Ellisville and a 1907 P. & O. plow advertisement.
