    3. I do not know how some of these people are related, if some are the same person or different ones but these WILLIAMS and MORRIS that are not familiar MUST be related somehow. These were names on a subpoena in Fulton Co William WILLIAMS-Susan WILLIAMS- James (?Hard to read) WILLIAMS-Sarah MORRIS=Nov 10, 1869 Mrs Mary WILLIAMS -Mrs Jane MORRIS-May or Mrs BAKER(Butcher) possibly married to the Samuel Baker- James Morris or could be Jane again -Susan Williams on same page (may be 2 Susan Williams or maybe a sister to James. She was served on Dec 20 1869 a James Williams, Susan Williams, Levi and Indiana were served Dec 15th 1869 Dec 19 1869 Mary E MORRIS- Mrs May or Mary MORRIS and Mrs Mary Baker were served. Wm H Morris- Susan MORRIS-Enoch Morris- Mary MORRIS could not be found by December 16th 1869- separate paper could not find Jacob Felch Dec 14 1869 served paper to a MRS WILLIAMS Mentions Enoch Mary MORRIS and a Robert Ferguson of McDonough Co., Ill-side of page has Mrs Wm. MORRIS-Susan WILLIAMS-John WILLIAMS names no date or place also after Enoch's name and others it had Levi and another person from Fulton that they were seeking I am unsure who these people are (Not sure if they subpoenaed minors back than) William WILLIAMS, Sarah MORRIS who was served on Nov 10th 1869 Mrs Mary WILLIAMS -Mrs Jane MORRIS-May or Mrs BAKER(Butcher) possibly married to the Samuel Baker- James Morris or could be Jane again -Susan Williams on same page (may be 2 Susan Williams or maybe a sister to James. She was served on Dec 20 1869 Dec 19 1869 Mary E MORRIS- Mrs May or Mary MORRIS and Mrs Mary Baker were served. and the John WILLIAMS. I am guessing they are siblings or cousins perhaps even nieces/nephews or children if they served minors back than. It also mentioned a Martha Ellen MORRIS who was a niece to Enoch, Levi, Squire, Susanna MORRIS-WILLIAMS and Wm H. MORRIS. The MORRIS family has been found in Pike Co., Fulton and Pike Co.Ill. And was mentioned in McDonough Co. I have found way too many Susanna(h) in these familys. Thanks in Advance "Today we strive to give these children a vision. 1. Re: [ILFULTON] Roll Call HARRIS, SHAW, DEFORD, NORTHRUP
    2. Mary Ruth Wright
    3. I think I can help you some on the parents of Nancy (Shaw) Harris. You surely have much more information on Nancy and her family than I do, but I am certain of her parentage -- except the birthdate I have for her is May 14, 1804 instead of 1801. She is the oldest child of John, Sr. and Catharine (Mires) Harris. I have a lot of material on this family because John Harris, Sr. is my great-great grandfather. He walked to Fulton County, Illinois from Licking County, Ohio in 1825 with his gun and dog. He served in the was of 1812 and I think probably was given land here for his service. He went back to Ohio and brought his family back to Illinois with him in 1827. They first lived in Bernadotte Township but a year or so later they moved on west to new territory. They were the first settlers in that area which was called Harris Township in their honor. It is still in Fulton County, but on the west edge across Spoon River. John and Catharine had 12 children -- all of them but the last being born in Licking County. I have very little information on Nancy (Harris) Shaw. I'm sure they came to Fulton County after her parents. I have only the record of their last four children, taken from the 1850 census. At that time Adaline Northrup (born in 1847) and probably the daughter of Elizabeth (Harris) and Nehemiah Northrup were all listed in the household of John and Nancy Shaw. I hope this helps you. If you have any more information on Nancy Shaw and her family I would be glad to hear from you.
