    1. McGehee Fulton & Cass?
    2. Sue Fosse
    3. Hi New Friends! I wanted to thank the folks that have been so kind to help me. Having some difficulty with my web service, so folks may not be getting my thank you messages. I'm still somewhat confused, as now there are Thomas and Steven?s McGehee's. Also I think there is a possibility that we are looking at 2 counties. Fulton and Cass?? Still trying to sort things out. My Thomas was in the civil war 1864 -1865 (residence listed as Liverpool area) and I do not believe that he died in the war because his discharge paper says he was discharged from Ft. Leavenworth Ks and he was 29 years old in 1865. He married Anna E. O'Brian (t)? 1855? and had a son William who may have been born in the Beardstown area in 1861. I do not have any idea if William and Ann had more children than William, or if Thomas died and his widow remarried??? I do know that William was my g-grandfather, and can follow the line down. If anyone can sort his out, I will appreciate help, as I am not familiar with county lines or resources. Again my sincere thank you! Sue

    3. Still looking to see if anyone knows any connection to Louis Fields born about Jan. 1840 in Ind and is marries 1863 and is on a Gibson Co., Ind census in 1870 with his wife Martha (Washburn) Fields and family and later move to Fulton Co. Ill.? Believe they moved into Fulton Co. Ill but cannot find name on 1880 census. Believe Thomas Washburn (father) b. abt 1812 and Sophia Plew (mother) had some wetland lands in Fulton Co. and possibly the Fields family came to Fulton to work some of this land. 1. RE: Migration from Maryland - Rev. John Miner?
    2. George Miller
    3. Norm, Have you ever come across a Minor/Miner family from Maryland who moved into western Pennsylvania in the middle 1700's? I am researching the family of Rev. John Francis Miner who was born in Pennsylvania 4 July 1775, migrated with his family to Kentucky about 1790, then moved with several siblings to Jefferson County Indiana around 1818, and finally to Fulton County, Illinois in about 1830. We believe the father of Rev. John was a Thomas Minor. There is some indication he could have been in Chester County, Pennsylvania and Maryland prior to that. This Thomas Minor died in Kentucky in 1802 and was probably born aroud 1745 or so. He was married to Martha ??. The parents of Rev. John Miner have been a mystery to our family for years and years in spite of continuous looking. Any tidbits you may have come across in your research are greatly appreciated! 3. Hi folks! I'm new to this list. Does anyone have access to census or any information for the Liverpool area in Fulton county. I'm searching for any information regarding Thomas McGehee and wife Ann E. ? I have a military record indicating that Thomas was in the civil war time frame 1864 -1865 he was 29 years old and indicates his residence as Liverpool. If anyone can help or advise, it would truly be appreciated. They had a son William born in 1861. I would like to find any information regarding Thomas and Ann's marriage or parents, or family. Sue

    2. My GGGgrandfather was Benedict Burrows and I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Astoria or Schuyler County area who knows anything about Benedict's parents. They(he and his wife, Elizabeth Crider or Kridder) are buried in the Oak Grove cemetery . Benedict had a twin brother, Benjamin. They were born in 1800. Another brother, William D. Burrows was born in 1793 and is buried in Bryn Cemetery in Delaware. There is supposed to be a Scotland or Wales connection, but I'm not sure about that .Thank You!
